Intouch - Remote Monitoring Architecture

Intouch services are implemented through Schneider Electric’s industry leading StruxureWare Data Centre Expert combined with Schneider Electric’s powerful Data Centre Infrastructure Management software suite which forms the underlying management software tool to support all aspects of essential data centre infrastructure, monitoring and management.

StruxureWare is designed to provide exceptional levels of reporting. Data is collected by Workspace Technology for a complete range of events and devices including Uninterruptible Power System (UPS), Power Distribution Unit (PDU), Rack PDU, Computer Room Air Conditioning (CRAC), Environmental Sensors, Automatic Transfer Switch (ATS) with supplied Generator, Surveillance, Multi-vendor SNMP devices (UPS, PDU, CRAC, and RPDU), and other infrastructure systems as deployed.

Remote Monitoring Options

Workspace Technology can scale the solution to align with business requirements. We can offer Energy Performance Monitoring (EcoMeasure™), monitoring of Critical Power systems or we can support the entire mission critical data centre infrastructure.

Energy Performance Monitoring (Managed EcoMeasure™) energy monitoring system provides on-going energy monitoring system and analysis. The service includes, energy reporting and recommendations. Energy Performance Monitoring is designed to help Data Centre Managers maintain peak PUE performance.

Critical Power Monitoring is typically focused on UPS and Generator equipment identifying faults, tracking system utilisation and helping prevent the failure of backup power technology very often which is caused by avoidable issues; for example, empty fuel tanks or low batteries.

Data Centre Infrastructure includes a wide range of equipment including Uninterruptible Power System (UPS), Power Distribution Unit (PDU), Rack PDU, A/C System Environmental Sensors, Automatic Transfer Switches, Generator systems , Surveillance and Multi-vendor SNMP devices (UPS, PDU, CRAC, and RPDU), and other infrastructure systems as deployed.
