Workspace Technology installs its industry leading Freecool® Evaporative Fresh air free cooling technology for Aston University.
Workspace Technology commissioned its 100th evaporative fresh air free cooling system for Aston University during March 2013. This milestone represents the installation of 3mW of evaporative free air cooling capacity and delivers a significant contribution to carbon reduction for ICT data centre infrastructure. It is estimated that Workspace Technology’s rapidly growing installed base of Freecool® evaporative fresh air free cooling systems have helped data centre managers reduce carbon emissions by 980 tonnes of CO2 per annum.
Workspace Technology’s existing installed base of Freecool® solutions has directly resulted in the reduction of 2 million kW hours of energy consumption for our customer across the UK.
