Access Flooring

The deployment of raised access flooring within modern commercial environments provides occupants with enhanced flexibility throughout the life of the building. As an alternative to block and beam or screed over pre-cast the installation of a raised access floor accommodates tolerances in the subfloor and enables the installation to be to be delayed in the build programme. A raised access floor has the advantage of a service void which enables the deployment of electrical, mechanical and I.T infrastructure services throughout the life of the facility.

Workspace Technology’s Interiors Solutions division deploy raised access floors in data centres and server rooms, schools, museums and galleries, leisure centres, retail outlets, residential properties, and within the traditional office environment. With a range of factory bonded finishes Workspace Technology can provide a fully accessible floor combined with a contemporary hardwearing floor covering.

Workspace Technology offers a range of raised access flooring systems which depend on application e.g. offices, light / heavy commercial or data centre spaces. Our extensive factory bonded and loose lay finishes includes vinyl, wood veneer, hardwood, carpet, porcelain and ceramic tiles, and many more, to support contemporary architectural and interior design trends.
